Finally there is a brand new ATM at the post office in Christos Rahes. This helps the residents of the entire region of West Icaria, from Gialiskari to Karkynagri (1 hour’s drive), to simplify their previously rather laborious money transactions. The nearest bank is in Evdylos! It is of course also practical for the tourists, as they can now receive money from Armenistis on a short trip to Christos Rahes and can also enjoy the special village square.
