The apartment house “Villa Christina” in Nas on the northwest coast of Ikaria was newly built a few years ago and is located directly above the beautiful bay of Nas. It offers five furnished, bright studios with 40m2 of living space, each with a spacious terrace with loungers and parasols.

The quietest apartments are No2 and No5. All are equipped with a large kitchen-living room and a separate bedroom with a double bed, except No2, where everything is in one room. Apartment No. 5 has a Jacuzzi tub. If someone wants a single room, you could also consider the Panorama Studios and each person rent their own studio.

The view of Nas Bay from the loungers is unbeatable – with beautiful sunsets and the incredibly clear starry sky above! Pure vacation!

Villa Christina is wonderful for a relaxing holiday, it is very quiet. With four beds per holiday apartment, it is particularly suitable for couples and families with a maximum of two children. You can easily cater for yourself, the small kitchen is well equipped, everything is there! Long-term tenants are just as welcome as holiday guests.

Despite the quiet location, you don’t feel isolated as there are several really excellent taverns with traditional cuisine in the town. There is also a small supermarket that is open from June. The beach is within walking distance.

The town of Nas consists of very few houses, most of which are actually taverns. All small family businesses whose staff and owners are extremely friendly. People greet each other even if they don’t know each other. People stop to give you a ride in the car. People are warm.

Villa Christina is certainly not for people who are looking for a lot of hustle and bustle or a party, but for those who just want to relax and unwind, Villa Christina is just right. Absolute relaxation for romantics far away from the tourist flow!

Nas itself is picturesque, fertile and offers unique hiking and swimming opportunities. The remains of the Temple of Artemis can be admired in the river valley and there is wonderful snorkeling in Nas Bay.

From Nas there are well-marked hiking trails through the wild Chalaris Gorge to Christos Raches and, for the hard-core, through the water landscapes of Diplopotama up to the large reservoir and the Pezi plateau.

Since Ikaria is very spacious, offers many excursion destinations and not everything can be reached on foot, I recommend a rental car, at least temporarily. Ikaria ist sehr weitläufig und es gibt keine ÖV. Auch wenn dich die Wanderlust und die Freude am Bouldern packt, ist nicht alles zu Fuß zu schaffen, und du verpasst die schönsten Blue Zones Wanderungen oder Ausflugsziele wie das Klösterchen Onufrios oder den Strand von Seichelles. Also empfehle ich unbedingt zumindest zeitweise einen Leihwagen. Ikaria´s Natur ist einfach unbeschreiblich!
